    Pros

High growth and high energy company. Most of the employees are passionate about company success and collaborate internally. CEO is interested in everybody's opinions, not just the C-Suite.

    Cons

Typical growing pains associated with a high growth company. Lots of process evolution.

I have been working at MDLIVE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

none. not worth it at all.

    Cons

Company's culture runs on harassment, mockery and shaming of employees. There is no recognition or loyalty for hard-work. I go to work everyday, never take a day off and even work nights and weekends in efforts to meet already unrealistic deadlines, and I got shame, humiliation, and disrespect in return.

    I worked at MDLIVE full-time

    Pros

Great people. A lot of the people there are now some of my closest friends.

    Cons

They promote people to key positions that clearly don't know what they are doing.
They are disorganized and lack structure.
They are clicky and only promote those who are close to the executives (friends and side pieces smh).
They don't innovate and sit on technologies that are ancient
People are leaving by the week

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees

I worked at MDLIVE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Telemedicine is a growing and exciting space.

    Cons

It seems like MDLIVE is in a constant state of turnover and the culture has greatly suffered because of it. There are some good and passionate employees committed to delivering value to customers but their efforts are squandered by ineffective leadership. It's been more like a dictatorship with directives of what to do, how to do it, and when to do it than a collaborative environment built on trust. I would say morale is at an all time low and has shown no signs of reversing. I do not recommend working here.

    Advice to Management

Employees want to work for a company that empowers them to be successful and provides autonomy to make the right decisions. They do not want to be order takers. The writing should be on the wall with the recent turnover. People are leaving for a reason. The IT and Product organization are prime examples. Take a look at the Product leadership team and determine whether they have the skillset to lead a team to success. Recent actions have definitely shown otherwise.

I worked at MDLIVE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People are enthusiastic about the potential of telemedicine and the rapid growth of the network. This company attracts talented, dedicated people who believe in the product and are willing to work their tails off.

    Cons

Inter-departmental communication is not great so "fire drill" situations arise frequently where one group's back burner low priority becomes another group's emergency. Also, the C Suite is a revolving door so sweeping policy and process changes are constant, which leads to confusion and resentment.

    Advice to Management

Find the right Executive Team and give them power to change the culture. Be sure to communicate constantly with your Team and your peers in other departments.

I worked at MDLIVE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Can’t think of any!

    Cons

Very disorganized. No processes in place. MDLIVE is very frustrating to work out. Most of the people either left or were laid off which is not surprising.

    Advice to Management

    Get it together.

    I worked at MDLIVE full-time

    Pros

Great product, employee some good decent people

    Cons

Unfortunately, although the company has a great product, they do not know how to execute it successfully and upper management is constantly grasping at straws to save money but get products out whether they work or not for the customer.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your good employees and stop rewarding brown-nosing. You should have learned this from the fiasco in Jan 2017.
