Salary and benefits was fair at least when I was hired in 2008 when they experienced rapid growth. There were opportunities to be entrepreneurial to take charge.
Cons
Process and procedures were all over the place at the start but slowly got a bit better as changes in many aspects took place. You have to be very self directed and find your way around. There was not a lot of information in terms of process docs, manuals etc.... Either that or do not be afraid to ask.
Great benefits (15 day holiday, free transit passes, generous medical / extended health)
Very interesting industry (online poker)
Flexible work hours and a relaxed / casual work environment
Cons
Promotions and demotions on the business side seem dependent solely on how much you suck up to the CEO. The result is incompetent managers running MMX
Many senior management decisions are illogical and based on gut feelings rather than data. This impairs revenue generation and results in staff layoffs
A steady stream of people are leaving the company due to very low morale, even without other jobs lined up
Culture of secrecy and gossip
