I have been working at Manpower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people, great flexibility, enjoyable work environment.

    Cons

Executive level leadership in shambles, no corporate vision, absolutely no understanding of what it takes to retake market share or drive growth.

    Advice to Management

Stop rearranging the deck chairs and flood the market with well paid, highly motivated sales people. You're running this company like IBM in the 80's.

I have been working at Manpower full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company offers just decent benefits, PTO, paid holidays, but the insurance is really bad for those that need medical treatment.

    Cons

The company makes it incredibly difficult for branch staff to operate. Horrible systems, which are not user friendly and require all staff to work day and night just to keep up with the admistrative work, as they want to us to provide an exceptional experience for our associates, without administrative assistance. This job is really difficult to fulfil as there are too many demands.

    Advice to Management

Clean up your offices. You have employees working in less than par conditions. Let each office hire an administrative assistant, so that the staffing personnel and branch manager can focus on making money. Instead we focus on the ridiculous amounts of clerical staff. Hire more staff to invest in growth. This company is VERY old school and barely gives us enough staff to get the work done. So many innovative staffing firms understand to add employees is an investment in our futures. We sell temporary business as a cure for potential burn out, but upper management doesn't look at it's own. Very sad that you support your employees to be burned out.
The yearly salary increases are a complete joke! 2-3% isn't even cost of living. I assure you NONE of us feel appreciated. This is why this company cannot keep the greats.
