    Pros

Teamwork, benefits/compensation, career starter, opportunity to further education (specific to Healthcare Analytics), positive company outlook, and career advancement.

    Cons

    1. Management needs to be better organized, and internally focused to produce eternal results.
    2. Accountability to specific jobs requirements.
    3. More company cross-training focus (to produce employees with a big picture concept).

Good pay, interesting work with many opportunities to grow well rounded skill sets, new leadership communicates frequently and attempts to make work fun

I have been working at MedeAnalytics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It is a job (for now)
Decent benefits (although not as good as they used to be)
    Some great people and products

    Cons

While I am thrilled to finally see a woman on the lily white "Leadership" page, couldn't you have picked one less degrading to our gender?? A lot of very strong, positive, empowering leadership women and long term employees have been let go with all of the recent lay-offs and restructuring (regardless of how it is "spun", the employees know the real deal) and you elevate a woman who runs her department with the subtlety of a high school clique.

Don't believe me? Simply look at them, there is definitely a preferred demographic. Those outside of the preferred demographic have been systematically transferred, laid off, quit out of frustration or if promoted, very slowly after everyone else. Trust me, you are made to feel unwelcome if not part of that special group regardless of what kind of job you are doing.

And posting jobs of those you just laid-off is a new kind of low!

    Advice to Management

    Please remove your EOE statement

    Pros

    It is awful company.
Pros: if you are intern and want to get some experience at any cost, you can try.
However 95% of time you will be doing FTE job.

    Cons

    - Old management: Incapable Chinese mentality with favorites surrounded by grannies from one particular chinese village.
    - New management: Weird folks from another 2* rated company driven by russian-ukrainian mob style middle level management which survived during last lay off.
    - No carrier growth. Absolutely. Your manager will get rid of you once you request minimal salary raise.
    - Absolute ignorance and zero loyalty to people. Engineers are treated like unnamed 'resources'.
    - Favoritism is absolute culture. Real "do-ers" mean nothing. Any initiative is typically being punished or 'owned' immediately. "You work with people we give you, can't choose". Total incompetence is a bitter result of that.
    - Real equity plan was cancelled. New mickey mouse equality plan established.
    - Absolute blindness regarding product and company strategy.
    - New management is a joke. Established fake hierarchy based on some pattern from entry level business school without even understanding it. Brought inexperienced folks from their previous 2* rated company and made them top level managers. Who are much worse then existing people and absolutely incapable of managing company's environment in very complicated moment.
    - Extremely uncomfortable, dirty, noisy and overcrowded office in Emeryville.
    - Motivational speeches during dramatic 'all hands' meetings typically fabulous:
"You are earning[loosing] money not for some money bags but for teachers and retired people".
"No matter how they squeeze you, if you are orange, you'll give orange juice".
"We are at the same equity plan" (after revoking equity plan).
"We should make sure OUR kids have future" (after huge layoff).

    Advice to Management

Recommendation to Thoma Bravo, who owns this compant (or Bain Capital).
Please next time you, guys bring onboard new 'Vikings' from some entry -level outsider company, make sure they are adequate.
And in addition to playing golf/saying bright speeches they have expertise and at least similar experience. Please also check what internet is saying about their past companies.
