Best Company I’ve worked for
Jul 22, 2022 - Manager Accounting in Alpharetta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
By far the best company I’ve worked for! I’ve been in small, midsize, higher Ed, and fortune 200 and MerchantE has been a great time! The people are really nice across all departments. We have hybrid working arrangements. The kitchen is fully stocked with snacks and bevs. Unlimited PTO And good work-life balance
Cons
The dental plan could use some attention - coverage gets 2/5 stars

BEWARE - This is not the company for you!!
Sep 19, 2022 - SupervisorRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There are NONE!! BEWARE of this company.
Cons
BEWARE - This is not a company you want to be apart of. They will tempt you with high pay and benefits. However please be prepared to be treated just like a number. They have no respect for their hard working employees and will let you go as soon as they benefit off of you. They take at will employment to a whole other level. You can give your all and you still won't be appreciated. They don't live or work by the core values they state make up the company. They lack the human in humanity. There is no balance. Professionalism is no where to be found in this company. Respect yourself and find a place to truly value you.

Incompetent Executive Mgmt Team
Sep 5, 2022 - Anonymous in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Benefits are decent, office kitchen area is nice, free food and a push for employee engagement in baseball teams and such. Some departments have good mid level management leadership, but other departments - primarily surrounding sales and customer retention have terrible executive level leadership.
Cons
Executive Mgmt team from WorldPay (SVP/VP level) is lazy, unavailable, less experienced, uninvolved, clicky, cold, and demeaning towards staff. The environment is like High School - the popular adults are from WorldPay and if you’re not - your contributions mean very little to the exec. management team from WP but yet their underperforming former WP colleagues get much undeserved credit while consistently underperforming. Embarrassing staff that are meeting their goals in front of their colleagues is the “norm culture” unless - you are from WorldPay. Executive mgmt are very demanding but contribute little to nothing to business development and retention. Customers are regarded as “demanding” while upper level mgmt takes a hands off approach.

Tons of Improvements but still have some ways to go
Sep 23, 2022 - Customer Service Manager in Alpharetta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Working with some great career minded leaders and colleagues. Loved my team and all the hard work and patience they displayed while CC ramped up and improved on procedures. Being able to have a pretty loud voice, lol and being heard and ideas respected.
Cons
*Better Team collaboration *Better processes and procedure between teams *A lot of responsibility shifted over to CC and was not placed with the correct team.

Very happy to be at MerchantE!
Jun 17, 2022 - Marketing Manager in Alpharetta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The office is amazing, with standing desks for every employee, gourmet coffee options, pantry full of snacks and drinks. There are 2 monitors on every desk and every conference room is equipped as a Zoom room. It's wired for productivity! My co-workers are great and they really view us as a team. We are doing a hybrid model where most people are coming in 1-2 days a week, but remote work is completely supported as well. Pay is very competitive and benefits are outstanding. We just got a lifestyle benefit added that provides a reimbursement of up to $500 a year for anything related to health and well-being. Insurance is very good, too.
Cons
The company is large and it's difficult with the working style to get to know people outside of your department.
