I worked at Michigan State University part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great experience for a resume, and allows for contact with professors and introduction to research labs

    Cons

time consuming, especially if you have to attend lectures as well as lead a recitation. Pay it not very high either for the amount of work you end up doing
