Pros

- Amazing team, fun, that created a strong bond - Team really wants to make something good and useful, but keep hitting roadblocks because of internal lack of focus - Offices for both Boston and Dublin are really well located - Benefits are ok, good health insurance - Exciting to see the products being used by millions of people with very quick adoption

Cons

- Wages below the market - CEO is aggressive, disrespectful, provides no guidance for the company, yells at the team in the middle of the office, threats people to lose their jobs if they don't do whatever he wants (like go to Apple store replace his phone) - CEO provides no leadership, he calls himself the boss, has an EGO bigger than himself - CEO makes their direct reports feel like trash. He humiliates, make bad jokes, rubs in your face your mistakes in front of the whole company - CEO is considered a joke by majority of the company and no one believes that he can lead this company to succeed

Pros

Startup-ish environment, fairly relaxed atmosphere in the office, projects with instant large exposure (millions of users since the apps are pushed by telecoms to all their customers)

Cons

Projects are over-sold on timelines/deliverables (ie sales promises to deliver faster then humanly possible) and understaffed (to even get close to meeting the deadlines)

Thank you for the comments. MobileAware has now been acquired by AwareX. The former CEO and some prior management team members have not been retained by the new company. Strategy is to be a product company. In this way we deliver much better value for customers...no longer work for hire, custom work, juggling projects. Our mantra...We don't work to make our customers happy, we work to make our customers successful

Pros

Neat product to work on. Some good people there

Cons

No one has enough experience leading a team. Can't focus on anything well enough to get a product out the door. No one knows how to handle talking to clients, always over promising and under delivering.

New management team a combination of key folks from former team plus some globally experienced execs well know in telco software industry
