Con 1 would be the Executive management at NCP / OSG. Their inability to make decisions. There is a lot of knee jerk reactions that occur as a result of said inabilities. Pay is not great and the company used Covid as an excuse to perform salary reductions....while at the same time boasting they have met and exceeded their yearly goals during the pandemic. Then in the same sentence employees are told that their salaries will be given back in pieces over the next 2 years while they increase the starting salary for new employees. Not a great business plan to keep employees! no raises, no bonuses!

The Jacksonville office had great people and great management.

They closed the Jacksonville office and moved the business to Alabama.

c- In a quieter part of town near airport. - Flexibility on hours. - A little more "fun" during Halloween and Christmas since everyone is friendly and it feels more like a smaller company

- The hours are HORRIBLE. If you are on-call then you are on-call at any point any time no matter who else is on-call. Essentially you are always on-call. - Not very professional with look of building, facilities, and lack of clean bathrooms. - Would often rather cut corners to get things done than do them the right way. - Management is designed and structured very strange there. Many are in positions that they don't belong in at all(I know this is said a lot but seriously....AT ALL). - Near a somewhat sketchy part of town....while quiet is also a little sketchy to drive to. - Lack of money/career growth. You will not make a lot of money at NCP Solutions.

Pros

Great employees to work with. Very flexible with work life. Harland Clarke bought NCP which provides the company with financial stability.

Cons

Harland Clarke didn't know NCP had one foot in the grave. CEO has no vision, sales oriented and no idea about what is going on the technology side and completely ignores and ignorant to the fact that technology is the bread and butter for the company. Management has to realize that no matter how good the sales guy is if the product is not good it's hard to sell the product and retain new customers or maintain existing customers satisfaction. Number of wrong people in the wrong positions (most shocking to see people in some positions, didn't know how they got there ) and in the process easily ignores the hardworking crew.

Pros

It is a job. People are generally nice. Company provides almost everything you need to get a job done. Was recently purchased by larger private company so it will most likely not go bankrupt.

Cons

No transparency for policy and procedures. Almost always there is a new procedure every time you start working on a project. Management normally likes to see that you are killing yourself to get the job done when if there was a policy to follow you could get work done more efficiently and effectively.

Pros

Customer-driven, laser focused on their market segment ( transactional printing-- bank statements, healthcare, etc). Very structured, dedicated to quality and are serious about implementing controls to assure accuracy of final product.

Cons

Slow to adopt new systems and procedures because of slow burn-in process. Plus lots of legacy workflows exist side by side with modern workflow, but difficult to move people away from old workflows to new.
