    Pros

The employees are diverse, friendly, and helpful to those who are just starting like me. Good mentor with IT. It's good for experience.

    Cons

Employees especially with the marketing and IT department are overworked.

    Advice to Management

    Appreciate your employees better.

    Pros

    Unfortunately no pros at all.

    Cons

This is a fake company with a lot of fraud people. They keep struggling, and don't know what they are doing. Have zero respect for employees. I am waiting to see, oneway federal govt. will come and shut down this company.

    Advice to Management

Change your third world's mentality. You can not do what ever comes in your mind.

Dishonest and complete liars and thieves

    Advice to Management

Wake up, and deal with realty....honestly

I worked at NetCom Learning full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free breakfasts were about all you could consider positive.

    Cons

This is as close to a "corrupt organization" as you can get. Why?

    1. Doesn't pay employees and very high turnover for employees
    2. Miserable work environment for employees
    3. Fails to pay vendors, and many instructors
    4. Cancels numerous public workshops
    5. Fails to reimburse customers when Netcom cancels workshops. Many customers have NEVER been reimbursed
    6. Baits and switches corporate customers by promising one instructor and then delivering another, often flown in from India at substantially lower cost to Netcom, but substantially lower quality for the customer.
    7. Management grossly out of touch with skills in management, specifically holding hour long morning meetings EVERY MORNING with long and out-of-touch speeches (including with CEO comparing himself to Steve Jobs and company to Apple; quite funny given company is on the balls of its butt and barely in business)

I could go on and on.

    Very unhappy environment for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Wrap it up. You have been at this for 20 years and never made any progress.

I worked at NetCom Learning part-time

    Pros

I got to learn a bit about the corporate world, so there's that.

    Cons

The sales dept. turnover bothered me a bit.

    Advice to Management

Probably come up with new ways to find good sales talent and retain them.

I have been working at NetCom Learning full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Management listens to feedback and tries to improve, given what resources the company has. Some good camaraderie among long term, productive employees.

    Cons

Those lazy and unproductive sales people who leaves negative reviews because they could not met their quota month after month, despite coaching and help from management. They put the company in trouble. Talk about non-teamwork. Try doing your job for starters and doing what you are hired to do in the first place. Earn your keep. That's why management needs to keep constantly clean house. I haven't seen any top guys leaving and complaining. Btw, I'm not in senior management but I can see why constant cleaning needs to be done, there are a lot of lazy people in this company that drags down the good things that people are trying to do.

    Advice to Management

Hire better sales guys who can actually sell instead of doing nothing.

nice working environment, friendly co-worker, free breakfast, frequent meeting with CEO, nice office setting so frequent interaction with other team members

    Cons

unstructured marketing team, high turnover, low pay, still start-up culture, which needs a lot of make-over from the management side to each department

    Advice to Management

appreciate the 2 way communication between management and employees, need a lot of work on marketing team specifically

I worked at NetCom Learning full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Proprietary CMS database system is very well designed that helps employees streamline processes with ease in collaboration with multiple departments.

    Cons

Unstructured Management Team. Unreasonable expectations from Sales Team. Business culture is not compliant to American standard. Very frugal in salary but imposes high expectations to perform with long hours and little to no reward. Business ethics seem to be null in management practices. It seem their open door policy is hiring and firing on a regular basis unless your Visa status is H1 Visa. It's a sweat shop style of management.

    Advice to Management

You want to hire excellent candidates, but the management team lacks the experience and knowledge on how to be a proper manager to their team. Company recycles employees like a meat market. There is no consistency. Investing on staff and providing proper leadership and support will increase the company's chance to retain quality staff. During my tenure, it was about quantity and not quality. The company need to be confident in the ability of their employees and allow ample time to ramp up.
