Pros
My experience in working at NetWize has been the exceptional culture we have had the opportunity to build. It is so different from the other IT teams with which I have worked. I greatly appreciate the perspective that we work to live, not live to work. The culture we have exemplifies this as well as “I don’t know” is a perfectly acceptable answer to questions, as ego is checked at the door, and we all help get to the solution. This in turn enables the ideal to document processes so that no one person is left as the only one who can accomplish a needed task. It truly is a team environment in which we all grow, in different ways, to build our capabilities and competencies.
Cons
I am, to be honest, hard pressed to think of things which I'd view as a Contrary to working here. To be frank the greatest obstacle is personal to me in which working remote is less effective than in the office. I'd love the commute to be shorter, but that is for my job function as a resource for escalations - this is SO much more effective in person, than remote.
