Negative. Very little diversity.

Pros

Some very smart, friendly people work there. The location is good if you live in the western suburbs.

Cons

A lot of people seem to be doing very little. For example, they have a huge marketing department for a company their size where not much is accomplished, and a pretty small sales staff who are under a lot of pressure. Favoritism, while nothing new, is blatant. The engineering dept has their own spacious offices but most employees are in cubes. Pervasive and consistent negative attitudes among employees creates a negative environment so interactions are tense and collaboration is just an idea, not a reality. (i.e. When asked your opinion, it's not really wanted so don't bother). Management works in a bubble and is low on social skills. Defined hierarchy with very little interaction across divides. Almost no diversity among people there.

A lost cause!

Pros

A great deal of learning is required for any position in this company, so future employability is high.

Cons

The company was bought out and all relevent personel either left the company or were pushed out during acquisitions. No viable leadership remains, outside of Sales and Marketing.

I didn't like it

Pros

1 hour lunch which was nice at the time. They let people bring their dogs to work.

Cons

Very catty, toxic office culture in my experience. Everyone trying to screw over everyone else. Zero, and I mean zero, opportunity to advance.
