    Lot of potential for growth
CEO is very friendly and easily approachable as are the managers,

    Advice to Management

Nothing to advice as what they are doing is brilliant. Keep up the good work.

    I worked at Nexius full-time

    Pros

The people I worked with were professional, good in their field, and committed to a great job. Pay was good and per-diem excellent. It was the company I wanted to call home.

    Cons

Poor management. Too many people involved in making decisions. When they started layoffs it was done like a hatchet job, very abrupt and hostile. People were escorted off premises like criminals by management that had visited and bought expensive meals for those same people only months before. If you were one of their select techs you were treated better.

    Advice to Management

None. I doubt they would listen.

I worked at Nexius full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nexius provided the ability to work from remote locations allowing some flexibility in schedule. Good people with great team personalities.

    Cons

No clear path from management and no good communication down the chain of command. We were often left in the dark as to what was going on with the company. Whenever bonus time came, there was always some reason that it could not be paid. Disappointing.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with the people in the field and follow through on contractual commitments.

I have been working at Nexius full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work environment with friendly Co workers constantly growing and improving. Room to advance within the company. Givin jobs and you make a schedule that works best for you.

    Cons

Often dependent on contractors to meet a schedule that usually they cannot meet, constantly new gc's coming into the market and have to train for market requirements, constantly troubleshooting existing issues on site really holds the GC's up and keeps them from advancing to the next project.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, have a great project manager that has made this jib alot more manageable and easier to track. Need to keep our solid performing GC's that always deliver a quality site spending more money on outside crews to fix other contractors work is a waste when that money could go to quality proven GC'S.

I have been working at Nexius full-time

    Pros

They are good. But as you know everyone stands for himself. All I have to say they are just not another staffing agency looking out for their own interests. If you are looking for bonus, raise, this company is not for you.

    Cons

Low pay, health package is ok. Time off is very much client dependent

    Advice to Management

    Start taking care of employees

"No personal life due to AT&T BAWA demands"

I worked at Nexius full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Willing to give an individual with no experience the opportunity to get into telecom. New trucks and equipment. Willing to spend money to give the appearance of a professional company.

    Cons

Not willing to spend the money to properly staff a TURF project for AT&T. They prefer to keep a lean and mean staff, but all it does is burn out loyal employees. This is one of the major reasons the team is so young. Older and more experienced telecom professionals with families will not stay here. Mentality is that all AT&T markets are the same-they're not. BAWA is its own island in the world of AT&T and requires an in-market army to be successful.

    Advice to Management

Abandon the "national teams" and "centralized management" for BAWA. You can't expect someone sitting 1,300 miles away to truly grasp the urgency and everyday pressures that a manager experiences with AT&T in Baltimore. Spend a solid month in the office and listen in on the early morning beat down calls.
