Pros

ORIX is fundamentally well-managed company with a unique business model. Check out the book, "Good Risks", if you want to learn more about the business model. I learned a lot at ORIX and have a great deal of respect for my colleagues and management.

Cons

The various parts of ORIX don't coordinate below the level of top management. It can be frustrating for working-level staff who see the opportunity level but are unable to realize results from attempts to team with other colleagues on larger opportunities.

Pros

worked for them in the us. adequate market compensation with opportunities to outperform market. a relatively flat organization without significant opportunity for advancement, but good access to decision makers.

Cons

not meaningful communication between employees and management. a culture of CYA and blame those who had left or below in the management structure and lack of accountability at the decision maker level. a challenging place to work without significant personal rewards. a place to make a paycheck, not build a career.
