    Pros

There are some nice people I met there and that is about it.

    Cons

They overwork people. They have zero respect for their employees. Insurance is lousy, salary is ridicoulosly low. CEO is self-centric. I would never recommend this company to anyone unless you are consultant or a sales person.

    Advice to Management

This is not a third world country. Do not treat people like slaves.

    Pros

Professional company that allows the freedom to make travel arrangements within spending limits. Team members are excellent professionals.

    Cons

Very few, just finding contracts in which the company is the prime contractor. Dealing with the prime and client adds layers of complexity to the project that complicated effectiveness.

    Advice to Management

A full cycle training program needs to be created between onboarding through the first few months on a project team. Pairing new hires with an experienced IC would provide a full cycle implementation of experience to allow them to lead on their own.

I worked at Optimal Solutions Integration full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was fantastic. I was given the independence to do my job. They had a very generous paid time off policy.

    Cons

The office culture was very difficult. I felt at a disadvantage at not being of Indian descent. There was a lot of Farsi spoken that was very off-putting for those of us who did not know the language. I was not given enough work to do so had a lot of spare time on my hands.

    Advice to Management

Be sensitive to the fact that the non-Indian employees felt at a disadvantage at this job.

    Pros

    Ramping up senior level roles
    Lots of independence in role
SAP specific, not trying to be everything to everybody
Trying to do the right thing overall

    Cons

Working across practices is not structured and more difficult than it should be
Teamwork needs to improve, it is random and very individualized
    Acquisition impact could be significant

    Advice to Management

Realize many solutions are dependent on other practices to make the solution work for the client.

I have been working at Optimal Solutions Integration full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good Pay (if you negotiate as a contractor), lots of work, growing company, experienced Senior (C-level) Management

    Cons

Doesn't feel like a US based consultancy, lots of outsourcing and H1Bs.
Disguises Contract work as "full time" jobs.
Middle Management are just seasoned consultants with little to no management experience.
Too many admin issues (maybe apart of the growing pains)

    Advice to Management

To retain and attract top talent you need to promote a culture that attracts US based consultants
