Performance reviews and appraisal discussions did not align with later actions, creating confusion and mistrust. Senior management sometimes avoided direct conversations, leaving HR to communicate difficult decisions. HR appeared focused on enforcing policy rather than ensuring fairness or representing employee concerns. Exit settlements, bonuses, and deductions were not clearly explained, leading to frustration during FnF. Middle management accountability and ownership of decisions could be significantly improved.
