I worked at PayJunction part-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

As a part-time sales recruiter you have the flexibility to set your hours around your school schedule. The sales quota is super achievable and once you have a system going it's easy to surpass and come out on top. The pay here is like no other (as far as college jobs go). Some perks I really enjoyed: -company provides lunch on Friday afternoons -you get to play music during work on the blue tooth speaker which is such...

    Cons

You have to make a lot of phone calls every day at this job. It does get tiring sometimes but it doesn't have to stay that way. Find ways to refresh your energy and focus during a break... Once you see the money pile up with the salary and commission structure here, that will motivate you to stay on top of it.

    Advice to Management

You're doing a great job with the recruiting department. Keep it up!! Try to create more opportunities for growth for the recruiters who still have a lot of time left in college. After about a year, year and a half of recruiting it gets monotonous--so for the dedicated recruiters who decide to stay they should be rewarded with more of a variety of responsibilities at the company, in addition to the generous pay bumps...

      Pros

I asked for a recommendation letter which I needed for a new position I was applying to after my time at PJ. My old team as well as the HR dept were quick to process my request and get me a letter before the deadline. Greatly appreciated!

        I worked at PayJunction full-time

        Pros

Two of the owners seem invested in providing a nice workplace, one doesn't bother to get to know you unless it is worth it to him. The positive reviews on this page are VERY misleading. All you have to do is to go to sites like LinkedIn to see how many employees have come and gone in the past 2-3 years. You'll see a trend of people having left the company, anywhere from a few months to a few years, when they were able...

        Cons

Payjunction doesn't promote from within. They prefer to hire employees that previously worked together at other SB companies which doesn't make Payjunction feel any better or different than my previous job.

        Advice to Management

Diversity in the workplace is a good thing. Give it a try.

        Pros

        - I just graduated in June and feel compelled to write this review because I am now realizing how important my Sales Recruiting experience was to my career. If you are interested in going into sales/working with people, this is a great place to start. Many "entry-level" sales roles nowadays require cold-calling experience, and I am so thankful I have that. - Chill culture, people wear casual clothing, the recruiting...
