Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Pennoni full-time for more than a year
Pros
Very good benefits; office and location are nice; good Christmas bonus
Cons
Job is too demanding; job turn around time is unrealistic; new management is quick to throw you under the bus. You have to do your job and theirs. Even though it is a small office, it is very cliquish.
Pros
The ESOP is decent if you stay in the company for several years. Having several offices throughout the east coast keeps project work relatively steady.
Cons
Little corporate support of divisions that are not Civil/Site development, Environmental, or Traffic oriented. High turnover of young employees.
Pros
not a whole lot I think
Cons
Cannot Think anything at this point

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Pennoni full-time
Pros
With the right boss hours can be flexible, benefits are somewhat comparable to other companies
Cons
Sexism and racism tend to run rampant here like many other ACEC companies, you'll get treated like dirt if you're not a white male Very little opportunity to grow (unless you're a Pennoni) blatant nepotism is the only way to get promotions/not be furloughed Some jerks get to stay in middle/upper management for many years, high turnover happens because nothing is done about it With offices all along the East Coast, if you're not in the powerhouse offices (corporate or Newark, DE) you're gonna have a rougher time with growth and will often be forgotten by corporate Only ~8 holidays, and 2 weeks of vacation, takes 5 years to get up to 3 weeks ESOP won't mean much to you unless you're loyal and stay for 6+ years (probably standard but not a great deal) Not giving off christmas eve like previous years, although a privilege, is absolutely stingy. No bonuses either. Company performance has seemingly gone down the drain. No raises company-wide this year (again probably normal considering COVID) but no recognition of achievement = building resentment, resulting in company shedding good employees who move to greener pastures
