Poor management The company only thinks about its benefits Toxic work environment

Across company it's a cut throat culture, most hostile work environment and everyone is (and feels) expendable! In my department, we have a new VP since May 2025 and in my experience, she has not yet built meaningful relationships within our broader team. There is a noticeable lack of communication, visibility, and recognition for employees outside of her leadership circle. Interactions often feel top-down and come across as dismissive or condescending, which has negatively impacted team morale.

Large organizational structure can result in slower decision-making processes. Certain approvals and workflows may feel bureaucratic, and advancement can sometimes depend on timing and internal mobility rather than performance alone.

Salary is less compared to other competitive companies.

No HR oversight on-site, and HR is difficult to reach when needed. Two significant layoff rounds in a single calendar year were poor for morale. Some inexperienced managers demonstrated extremely unprofessional behavior, bordering on abuse, and should not have been in their roles. Culture of cronyism and incompetence among some of the employees who have worked there for decades was revealed following layoffs of >50% of the site. Toxic work environment with poor work-life balance for the final 8-9 months before the site was shut down.
