I worked at PreCash (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay - they train you with everything you need to know. And the job is super easy. You are paid for what you are doing. Nothing more nothing less.

    Cons

The people you work with can be annoying. And the job is very repetitive.

    Advice to Management

Because the job is so repetitive- maybe set goals for employees? Idk- give more coffee breaks or little 5 min breaks. We all know there are people sleeping. Its not fair to everyone else.

I worked at PreCash full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay and decent bennifits. Growing company and there is a good opportunity for grow. Also the food on Fridays is a plus

    Cons

They work you like a slave in exchange for the pay and stuff you pretty much just are their slave . I don't think they care about people just the bottom like

    Advice to Management

Think about people's work life balance when determining their work load . Also try to do things to make the employee feel valued besides on pay day

I worked at PreCash full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, great managers and co-workes.

    Cons

Company went through several series of layoffs - though there is no such thing as job security the company kept shifting focus between products and services and later transitioned to a completely different business model that did not offer much upward or lateral growth.

    I worked at PreCash full-time

    Pros

In the heart of downtown Portland. Great learning experience. Have enough free time to do individual studying.

    Cons

    Projects are typically pointless.
The hiring of receptionists and turning them into QA members creates a huge knowledge gap. No real training. Management is an absolute joke. Well below industry standard when it comes to pay. Don't expect to receive a raise. Don't expect to receive substantial merit increases. A couple team members carries the company, while everyone else is dead weight. Most valuable employees either leave the company from being mistreated or because there is no room to grow within the company. New HR seems to care, but no one in management seems to care what HR thinks.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better. If they ask for a raise given a track record of exceeding expectations, then actually consider it instead of saying you will and blowing it off. When issues are raised, listen. I know it's difficult, but your employees are the ones busting their butt to put out your silly projects that go nowhere, least you can do is listen.

Management has favorites and if not part of the favorite you will not progress
