I worked at Pressley Ridge full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The pros to this company are the flexibility in the schedule and the benefits.

    Cons

Communication is awful amongst programs. employers and employees and the opportunity for advancement is minimal. The pay is HORRIBLE considering what the job descriptions are and the amount and effort of time you put into your position. The HR department is not supportive of the employees needs. there is no opportunity for buy-back for benefits- the benefits are VERY expensive through Pressley Ridge. There is... a program that employees can put money into for disasters and needs of the families that pressley ridge benefits but in the event of a fire, emergency need of an employee- they can not access this money for assistance of their own families.

I have been working at Pressley Ridge full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Work can be very rewarding. Hours are extremely flexible in the sense that you make your own schedule. coworkers are great to work with. This is a great place to gain experience for a future career elsewhere.

    Cons

Supervision is lacking in the sense that you are more updating your supervisor on your case load rather then getting any real substance from the meeting. Where a supervisor may have dropped the ball on a responsibility the blame is often pushed onto those below them. Communication from upper management and supervisors to the worker bees is extremely lacking. There is no job training. You are thrown into the job... with a manual and often asked to refer to your manual or ask colleges when needing assistance . This could be due to a lack of training of supervisors as well. Support from supervisors and upper management is lacking. No training on how to use car seats or proper baby/child transportation. Many individuals have never held a child prior to this job far yet installed a car seat.

    Pros
