I worked at Price Chopper part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They were super flexible about schoolwork/assignments, and gave reasonable hours. They were good about giving a variety of jobs to do around the store, so you learned quite a bit, and never ended up bored during a shift.

    Cons

Not the company's fault, but some customers were pretty awful/rude. At one point management made me come in to handle groceries while I was sick (fever and everything).

I worked at Price Chopper full-time

    Pros

You can kind of move up quickly

    Cons

They don't treat any of their employees well. If you can work through that, then you're golden. Otherwise, they will burn you out.

I worked at Price Chopper full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Indoor year round nice store

    Cons

No growth opportunities they eliminated full time positions all across the board even laid off or stripped long time employees of their position horrible business practices no hard working American deserves that.

    Advice to Management

Bring back full time positions expecting ppl to be motivated and perform well on a 20 hour work week is preposterous get it together.
