    I worked at ProObject

    Pros

Great learning experience and exposure to development lifecycles of professional companies. They frequently have social events outside of works (baseball games, snowboarding trips, etc.)

    Cons

Environment isn't necessarily fun or unique. It is what you make of it though.

I worked at ProObject part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free snacks, the company often holds little get together for their employees, its small so you at least know everyone, friendly coworkers.

    Cons

Got hired as a receptionist, I interviewed for a full time Staffing Coordinator position but they instead asked me to come on for part time front desk work with eventual full time after training. Was informed by the other receptionists that I would probably be lucky to get full time as the company has figured out it's cheaper for them to instead eliminate the position and have the receptionists do all the tasks instead. Stayed on in hopes this was just rumors but never was offered the full time position again. When I asked about it they said they had decided it wasn't necessary to fill that job vacancy since their daughter (who had previously been holding that position) would be coming back from maternity leave sooner than expected but that they may have a graphic design job for me in the future. With my background being art I stayed and did graphic design work for receptionist pay for them for nearly half a year. When I'd done a large amount of work for them in the graphics field I again asked if I was ever going to get that full time. They told me no. The very next week they informed me that they didn't have enough hours for me and would be eliminating me come January. I quit that day after finding out from the other receptionists that they have done this sort of thing twice before. They use receptionists as temps to get jobs done that they don't want to pay an actual salary for and then tell them they don't have enough hours and remove them and then immediately afterwards hire someone new to replace them. Found out just two weeks after I left that they had indeed hired a replacement for me despite the hour excuse they had given me.

I have been working at ProObject full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I can't say enough positive things about this company. After reading some of the less positive reviews on here I can only assume those individuals lacked strong work ethics because hard work is definitely recognized and appreciated by management/leadership. They are extremely supportive of employees who want to expand their skills, both technical and non-technical positions. Very family oriented company. Genuinely want the best for their employees. No micromanagement. Flexible work hours.

    Cons

If you're looking for a job where very little is expected of you, this is not the place for you (I don't think that's a con. Some people might though).

Thank you so much for the review and feedback! Following this feedback back in Feb 2016, ProObject began yearly reviews for technical and non-technical positions - feedback is crucial in growing employees. Great suggestion that was heard by leadership!

I have been working at ProObject

    Pros

Training/Educational assistance, Monthly ‘All Hands’ meetings, Bowling Event, Happy Hours, Orioles Tickets, Picnic, Holiday luncheon are just some of the perks of working for ProObject. In addition, they promote a great work life balance, flex time, as well as lots of paid time off. Many positions to choose from so it’s easy to move from assignment to assignment.

    Cons

I have nothing negative to say based on my experience I have never felt pushed or compelled to take a position on a contract just for the sake of billability. This consideration means a lot, and opens the door for better cooperation and mutual respect.
