When I worked for ProStratus, they had 3 owners who acted as “managers”. It was kind of weird because in the interview everyone was smiling and joking around. You’ll think to yourself that you hit the jackpot with a small IT company. I watched this happen to everyone. They hired amazing people and it always ended the same. If you like your “managers” using tactics like giving you the silent treatment, then you’ll love this place. I witnessed one “manager” berate an employee walking back from his lunch break in front of everyone during a meeting. Another “manager” acts like every day is the greatest day of the week. He forces a smile on his face and then says the same thing every day…”It’s going to be a great day today!” Obviously, it comes off as very fake. He will also give you his “ideas” to work on and then completely forget about them. It’s not fun wasting hours of the day on nothing, but hey…he’s the “idea” guy! The last “manager” stays away. He made himself a 40 hour a week job with one of their clients. He never responded to emails or phone calls. If you last long enough, you may see him at the Christmas party. There was no room for advancement at ProStratus when I worked for them. They run very lean. They micro-managed the call center. Both “managers” loved to call you out in the chat about a ticket or issue. Most of the time they either jumped the gun or simply didn’t bother to refresh the program. Super professional stuff. The only time it was halfway enjoyable was if you were lucky enough to work offsite. Be very careful if you decide to work for this company. There isn’t much training and you’ll never do it the way they want it done. They have deep trust issues. They won’t even invest in business cards for the staff. I only met one employee that was happy working there and he was a little off.

I grew as an employee faster than my pay did I feel. The other main player of the company, Kevin, honestly felt so hard to approach, and never really felt part of the same atmosphere as everyone else.
