      Didn't keep an eye on the sales pipeline

      Pros

      Social activities were good as you got to meet others in the company.

      Cons

      Lost several contracts and as a result made some staff redundant. Didn't ensure sufficient work in the sales pipeline for staff. Spent too much money on social activities and 'wellness' days for staff when it should have been more mindful of the economic environment.

      Pros

      The work is pretty reasonable in terms of hours and workload for a consultancy. The quality of work was quite good.

      Cons

      It's all very peppy, forced enthusiasm, forced ra-ra yay team, heavy expectations to socialise with the company out of hours. No systems though, so no consistency in how things were done. Management refused to invest in a proper consultancy repository, so it's a glorified contractor-managament house that does good QC on the finished product, rather than a proper methodology / IP-driven consulting house.
