Pros

Pyro gives opportunity to all the employees and it is upto you to grab it. It is upon you whether you want to be an average performer or outstanding. Work smart and you will be rewarded well for all your effort. I have seen Pyro grow from a small company (50+) to a mid size company (400+ employees). Even today Pyro nurtures the startup culture with no hierarchy. If you have an idea / technology suggestion .... talk to your manager... lead it and implement it. Pyro works on niche technologies. Experience at Pyro will yield you in-depth telecom experience and will add value to your career. One year of experience in Pyro is equal to around 5 years of experience in any MNC. You can work from the start to end of the project. Pyro treats the old timers well, because they stayed with the company in bad times. Being loyal to the organization, also gets you some brownie points and benefits. People around are friendly and we make more friends at work. For recreation, there is a TT table, carrom board and Chess. Helps to bond with colleagues. If you are a top performer you can get hike upto 25-50% as well, but for an average performer it would be between 7 & 10%, which I believe is the industry standard. Policies can go out of the way for you, in case you are in real need. HR makes sure that employee engagement workshops are held every month. Overall, if is a fun place to work.

Cons

If you are till the middle management level, your salaries will be received before 10th of every month. In case, you are at senior level, then it can get delayed upto 17th. The travel reimbursement gets delayed.

Pros

Good scope to grow for people who are willing to Work Hard. People irrespective of their education or degree have grown to heights because of the efforts they put in. Some of the managers are really good trying to cope up with tough situations.

Cons

A company and its policies reflects the people behavior. Good company drive the culture down to each individual working in the company irrespective of their hierarchy. Any of the above is seriously missing. You would not have seen a bigger gang of people working in the same company and talking bad about it. Reason is simple. Company is driven by business need . Company never thinks about employee benefits. Hiring unskilled employees at low cost to get the job done is companies aim. After the employee had left the company he does not get his basic right of Full & Final settlement even after several months and several approach. Not much of learning can be achieved as all the work done are driven by business needs and neither the resource nor the work done by them are considered . Unskilled project managers do the Chasing work effectively to keep the Top Management happy. There is disconnect between the top management and the work force who do the actual work by a big margin as they never want to realize how a task is achieved. Attrition rate is very high. Some teams do not have adequate resources to work. Except for Senior or unskilled employees most of the employees get jobs outside in an year to two span and move and Company is never bothered about it. No Work Life balance . Saturdays are also working day. Irregular compensation structure across functions. Very high % of recommended work force . Highly political environment. No individual growth road map and transparency. Gaining customer just by promising big can not be the only thing left. Proper training plan and product road map discussion is seriously missing in overall product development phase. Role are not properly defined at each level.
