    Pros

    -Coworkers are intelligent and strive to produce high quality work -Providing digital banking solutions to small banks/credit unions is rewarding -Endless swag?

    Cons

    -Career growth should be attainable in a growing company, but it isn’t. I’ve been with Q2 for over two years and seen maybe two people switch roles or get promoted. In fact, I’ve witnessed ppl effectively being ‘demoted’ through arbitrary title changes. -Fires. Constantly. Anyone who has been with the company for more than a year can start pinpointing the causes of these fires. Management does not care about long term solutions for the sake of our customers’ happiness. They simply want this problem fixed NOW, other commitments be damned. You can see how this leads us directly to more fires. 🤯

    Cons

    Hard to find a support path if you get in through support team. They like to keep their strongest workers in house without compensation.

    I have been working at Q2 Software full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The culture is very inviting and at least on my team is centered around everyone pulling together. Their response to the Coronavirus was swift and focused on the safety of their employees which was wonderful. The benefits are also very generous with Time Off.

    Cons

    Transparency from upper management could be better. This appears to be something they are working on.

    I have been working at Q2 almost 5 years now - Employee focused work culture. - Lot of opportunities to grow. - Doing great even during this pandemic situation - Your PTO gives employees to have flexible PTO. - Company is growing at a very fast pace.

    Pros

    Hands on experience with new and relative technologies in the space. Wonderful co-workers and cross team communication. Responsive management at most levels. Great benefits and competitive pay. Plenty of documentation and if there is not any most project owners reply, same day, to questions. Most employees are very smart and driven individuals. Plenty of room for career growth.

    Cons

    If you are not self motivated you will not do well! This is not a read specific instructions type of job. Training is lack luster - Extremely broad platform that covers a lot of spaces/technology. Work hard - Overtime is a regular occurrence and is sometimes necessary to keep up.
