    I have been working at QL2 full-time

    Pros

Free meals nice culture work life balance

    Cons

    Night shifts In house tool

    Advice to Management

Should bring in new latest technologies in process.

    Pros

Good employees that want to make a difference

    Cons

QL2 had a terrible culture. Everything revolves around 1 employee and the owner. They think they can replace everyone for an outsourced lower cost solution. Innovation, creativity and teamwork take a much lower priority than lowering cost and getting a bid for the company.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company and move on.

I worked at QL2 (More than a year)

    Pros

Travel. Strong Product Offering (that is now obsolete).

    Cons

    The leadership (or lack thereof)

    Advice to Management

Be open with people about what the goal is for the company - to sell to the highest bidder. Hire a CEO who can execute, not one obsessed with operations. Upgrade your tech and offerings.

    I worked at QL2 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The product is unique
The people are collaborative - many are excellent colleagues
The customers are interesting people, and they get excited about the product

    Cons

Product is overdue for updates (~8 years)
Performance Review process is unrelated to actual operations
Leadership is secretive (not just confidential - secretive) and cliquish
Sales Teams are left without guidance or assistance, but presented with strict/heavy consequences
No clear goals or guiding ethos for an established company (13+ years)
Inappropriate remarks and behavior from senior leadership
    Bullying

    Advice to Management

Update the product and become more customer focused. Update the culture and become more internally communicative. Update the sales philosophy to reflect the product and audience. Update the leadership and become more successful - to be rigorous, not ruthless.

I wish the best of luck to all - as it is unlikely the most important changes will be implemented

    I worked at QL2 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Unique product (Yes, that's really it)

    Cons

To understand QL2, you must realize it's owned by a PE firm, who's looking to flip it. This means, they have zero dedication to employees, clients, or product. They simply care about slimming margins, and outsourcing every job they can to India. You will not last there, I don't care how talented you think you are at sales, they keep all the good leads and accounts as "house" accts. BTW: There's no 3 yrs tenured Rep in Atlanta, so don't believe that review.

    Advice to Management

Charlie, will eventually sell this company, and Paul/Drew will be on their asses once he does.

I have been working at QL2 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very customer focused. Unique competitive advantages. Expanding rapidly and doing well. Beautiful products. Tremendous opportunity for the business and its people.

    Cons

Needs to add infrastructure -- company has grown much faster than its employee processes, and doesnt have things like systematic performance reviews. Not much tolerance for employees who arent doing the right thing for the customer.

    Advice to Management

Need formalized performance review system, mentoring

    Pros

    Decent technology, talented friendly co-workers,

    Cons

Management has no ethics and no care for the employees

    Advice to Management

A word from a senior staff member of the management team should be worth more than a thousand words written in a contract. Stop the deceptions and learn to respect yourself and your employees

    I worked at QL2 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work from home culture is still acceptable. Some what decent technology stack. Not many competitors for their business model and product.

    Cons

It's a story of a private equity firm which has no choice but to keep the company together because they could not sell it. Its an arrested development at this place. No talent left in the company since they have all been driven away. No work life balance, constant fires to be put out. No leadership.

    Advice to Management

    Don't treat employees like cattle.

    I worked at QL2 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talented core of non management employees, ability to work outside of an office, good product

    Cons

Senior management treats employees like cattle, with no regard for their lives. High turn-over, it's hard to get comfortable with co-workers.

    Advice to Management

Start being more responsible for your employees lives and futures. The people you hire are not just interchangeable pawns, if they make a commitment to you, you need to reciprocate the loyalty.

    Pros

Great product and startup environment, great people, great location. Everyone pitched into close sales, deliver solutions, and keep customers satisfied.

    Cons

Product was not priced correctly, legal troubles, senior management said one thing but did another, and ultimately they went bankrupt.

    Advice to Management

This is written after the fact so there really aren't any of the previous management team left. They're bankrupt and nearly closed now.
