Friendly environment and people really tried to help you when you did not know how to do something

I worked at Quality Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Workplaces are clean and safe. Without this I would have had no reason for my generous one star rating. There are no additional pros.

    Cons

Scrooge-like pay and benefits. Unpredictable work schedule and unreasonably long work hours. Culture of distrust and stinginess. Owners' in-fighting breeds confusion and disorganization at plant level. Nepotism is the norm. Business ethics and corporate sense of social responsibility are noticeably absent. Business textbook awful company.

    Advice to Management

Hire a team of business consultants who aren't old college friends or relatives of the owners to objectively evaluate business practices. Then use some of their advice to build a company based on strategic planning, fair treatment of employees and sound business ethics.

    Pros

Quality Associates will allow you to gain experience and work at a high level within the Company. They tend to provide employees with the power to make decisions. Tend to do work that is above your pay grade and you will be asked to wear several hats.

    Cons

They need to work on upgrading their benefits both the Health and 401K plans. It is hard to retire from this company with the pay and benefit packages that are offer.

    Advice to Management

Develop an employee retention plan to retain top level talent.
