I worked at Quality Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Workplaces are clean and safe. Without this I would have had no reason for my generous one star rating. There are no additional pros.

    Cons

Scrooge-like pay and benefits. Unpredictable work schedule and unreasonably long work hours. Culture of distrust and stinginess. Owners' in-fighting breeds confusion and disorganization at plant level. Nepotism is the norm. Business ethics and corporate sense of social responsibility are noticeably absent. Business textbook awful company.

    Advice to Management

Hire a team of business consultants who aren't old college friends or relatives of the owners to objectively evaluate business practices. Then use some of their advice to build a company based on strategic planning, fair treatment of employees and sound business ethics.

I worked at Quality Associates part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One thing I liked is that you can listen to music on your headphones while you work. I loved it because it helped me to relieve stress about working for long periods of time doing the same thing. The staff also really cared about me and wanted me to succeed.

    Cons

It was very annoying sometimes to take out all the paper clips and staples, but that simply comes with the job.

    Advice to Management

If possible, allow new employees to move around with different positions and help them to see what duties they prefer doing.

    Pros

if you need a job it is alright, but you have no rights with the corp. you have more rights if you were in prison.

    Cons

Just do not work there if you want to have a life. Overtime is must even if they schedule it at the last minute on friday. Say like fifteen minutes before the end of the shift. Their work schedule is dictated by Protactor & gamles needs.

    Advice to Management

Management do not give a s___t about you, you are there only to make them money. Medical benefit are way to high IE. for a family of three or more is over $700 amonth that is BS.

Had you doing multiple things every day. sort of just threw you at tasks, no balance.
Had to deal with some very interesting people that were temporary workers that worked in production.

    Advice to Management

Great job of keeping people motivated.
Friendly environment and people really tried to help you when you did not know how to do something
