Pros

Decent work-life balance, chill managers, and fun coworkers. CTO respected. Still one of the leaders in its category.

Cons

Shortsighted company goals. Sales dictate the direction of the company and the rest of the organization spends all their time reacting, and firefighting. No room for career growth. Leadership team does not seem receptive to employee suggestions.

Dealing with trauma from working in a toxic work environment.

Pros

- You have a job in this city. - You like working for free.

Cons

This is an honest account of my experiences while I was working at this company not that long ago. Bullying and toxic working conditions have traumatized me so much that I am now seeking therapy, even after all these years. - My lunch was stolen. I saw that my co-worker had opened my bags, took my lunch out and was eating it. We've had a few other cases where someone complained about stolen lunch before this. Of course nothing happens. When I confronted about him, he laughed and gave a shrug. He was promoted! I couldn't believe it. - On another occasion, I had homophobic slurs shouted at me in the middle of the office. It was humiliating. - HR spends awful lot of time on glassdoor. Probably more than they do at their actual job. Just read all the positive reviews and see how many "Helpful" votes they get vs honest reviews.

Pros

The experience so far has been great in terms of exposure with enterprise clients and repetitive coding practices with no Standard dev insight. Like everyone else, we are all leaving for greener pastures and the company still hasn't waken up yet.

Cons

No bonus, no perks, work till you drop. COO comes in and cans all the key people that have embrace the culture. COO knows nothing except to chop heads and has a bad reputation on the market as being a penny pincher.
