I'm a leased employee, working on site at a Fortune 500 company.

Cons

No support. I have not had a raise in nearly 3 years. Staff are not accessible unless they want something from you.

The communication is fine in good times and they reply.

Cons

Have not received my payments for last 5 months. Some consultants I know have not been paid for more than 6 months. Can you imagine having to live without receiving salary. They even do not communicate anything to the downward layers. Hopefully folks can get togather and do a class action lawsuit. Its not professional to give your own consultants the run around.

HR and IT staff do care and are extremely helpful at doing their best to rectify a problem, which in six months I had three problems.

Cons

Unprofessional, very low pay. There were several problems including receiving pay my first paycheck and setting up direct deposit. Very clear that their employees are not a priority - only the end customer matters. The person I reported to at the company would not answer questions directly or if she did addressed them with IT or HR, she would not communicate - I had to call at least twice to find out whether or not she received my email or message.
