Don’t work here

Pros

The people who work here are nice but that’s about it.

Cons

If you need work done, you’re much better off finding freelance work. Horrible internal communication. Low quality work. Development team is mediocre at best. Audit reports regularly show tons of mistakes. Some are very simple mistakes that had to be pointed out to devs. Rapid makes no effort to fix them. Direct quote from client “UI is trash lmao”. Salary is also embarrassingly low. You would probably get paid more working at McDonald’s. You might feel more embarrassed to work at McDonald’s, but that’s only because no one has heard of Rapid.

Pros

- Great team and great culture - Work from anywhere in the world - Set your own schedule and be held accountable for results only. - Solve intellectually stimulating problems in a high growth industry. - Everyone works on projects together and supports each other with their tasks. - None of that corporate backstabbing or political BS. It's a respectful and friendly working environment. - Everyone has autonomy to do their job - there's almost no micromanagement whatsoever.

Cons

- Remote work means it's harder to build relationships, can feel isolating for some people. - Distributed team means staying up late or waking up early for calls sometimes. - Keeping up with the rate of change of the crypto industry can be overwhelming. - The company doesn't have it's own token yet, but may in the future.
