Management is condescending. COO brags about his favoritism for specific employees. No accountability for employees, the management team just expects the “seasoned” employees to take on additional work and correct the mistakes of others instead of holding the correct employees accountable. The company only cares about the amount of money they are making and takes on too many orders then makes overtime a requirement to employees. Instead of continued/thorough training, the company shuffles around underperforming employees into different positions. Will make the employees lie to the clients when the company drops the ball so that the client thinks it is the municipalities fault and not the companies (employees have quit over this). Promotes employees to management due to friendship. Allows a manager to come to work high on drugs or purchase them in the parking lot while on the clock. Automatically deducts lunch from checks even if you work during lunch. If you work past 5pm they will retract your time back to 5 and not pay you for your time worked.

If you ever have to file for unemployment, you get hurt, get sick, etc. and they give you an unpaid leave of absence, they will fight your claim and lie to the unemployment office. The COO and HR personnel are untrustworthy. This company favors whoever does the most work, you can have a combative and unsavory attitude and thus create a hostile work environment for other employees but not worry about losing your job if you produce in high numbers. This is to the point that if you say anything about the hostile work environment to a member of management you will be looked down on and may even lose your job as a result. They do not care about you as an employee, you can receive a raise and positive remarks about your job performance and still be first on the chopping block during their yearly lay-offs during the companies slow season.
