I have been working at Rescomp part-time

    Pros

Teaches you valuable skills like customer service and technical support skills. Learning how to work effectively in a team and independently. Good student job with flexible hours and unlimited academic leaves

    Cons

Not much as a student. They are very nice and accommodating. On the career staff sides, I've seen many turnovers and constant restructuring. Might not be the most stable job.

Keep doing what you're doing. Adapt to the growing student population, be careful about expanding too fast.

    Pros

The environment is great to work at and all the fellow students are super friendly. Whatever position you work as, you get real-world experience in your field and there are opportunities to improve public speaking and communication skills. Hours are super flexible.

Definitely the best student job you can have in UC Berkeley. Probably the most highly paid for students too.

    Cons

Sometimes office can be pretty empty and lonely depending on when you work, but when people are there, it's awesome!

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! I think that management is doing an excellent job to make Rescomp a very friendly environment. They really care about providing an experience that will be valuable for the students, and I appreciate that a lot.
