Pros

I cannot say anything good about Reval, but career wise it would be a fair start to a fresher, as one learns how to survive in the corporate.

Cons

There is a lot of politics and the management never addresses an employees issues. More importantly whether one works for 9 hours or 24 hours, efforts are never noticed. There is no proper work management. Training provided is hardly of any use as one needs to re-learn everything from someone else except the trainer. There are no proper HR policies, and HR keeps changing the norms as per their convenience. Employee Retention is ZERO.

Pros

1. Pune city is nice place 2. Good learning for first 6 to 12 months 3. If you do not want to work, then join and sit down, nobody will fire you, there are many people like this there now.

Cons

1. The company will terrorize you by not giving bonus, by giving extra work. 2. Very low cost company, salary is a lot below industry standards, SGA starting salary is 50% more, Transparant is 100% more, but this company pay very little, after 2 years it will still be far less than starting salary at other places like transparent value starting salary. 3. No respect to employees, there is only one manager from last 7 years, there was one more, but he was cheated and removed by current manager, the current manager does not allow anyone to even talk, the most senior analyst are afraid of him since he keeps on shouting at them, even publicly, CFA should take his charter from this cheap person. 4. Never ask questions from manager, he will abuse you in front of anyone else, I have experience. 5. Anything you say to manager he say no, if you say no he say yes, this is the way work is done, by force, by fear, very cheap. 6. Leaves not give for work you do on Saturday and Sunday, if you give CFA you are forced to do extra work, specially Saturday and Sunday so that you fail, all this in name of learning, I do not think there is learning like this, learning should be given in trainings. 7. If you are hard working, then not the place for you, the people who do not do anything nobody push them, but if you work hard, then you are in trouble in this company, the manager will give you 60 companies to update, I hear one person had more than 60 companies. 8. There is no focus on quality just more file updates, the company want more files, nobody cares about accuracy forecasts. 9. Advice for new people, once you join, side by side look for new job, don’t think the appraisal will be anything, don’t wait for it, what will u do with 4000 extra per month. 10. Company lie to us by work from home, there is no work from home. If you work from home, you don’t get full day work salary and you will not get appraisal also. 11. All the good reviews are lies, all employees want to leave the company, everyone hate this company and the management. 12. there is no promotion, you stay junior analyst all time, only one senior manager there, no career growth.
