I have been working at Revantage full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits like fully vested 401k, snacks, PTO.

    Cons

You receive decent PTO and summer hours, however, good luck using them. Some teams even work holidays, not even optional. Many teams work significant OT year round. You are better off staying in public if you don’t mind the OT since promotions from senior to management is few and far between at Revantage. I was once told it’s impossible for a promotion from a very high ranking insider. No honest feedback is given to grow outside of basics. The only challenges are the race against the clock and balancing the ever increasing workloads and special projects. This is not good for new staff or seniors, you will never get feedback to improve but might be reprimanded for poor performance if something is caught during the audit since your work is never reviewed and feedback rarely given. Raises are barely cost of living irregardless if you are average or above average. Bonus are paid annually and they moved it from December pay out to February. Being an outstanding performer only merits you more work until you break. moral is so low that any events are poorly attended. Nobody gives honest feedback to upper management since you are gaslighted to believe this is how companies work. Lastly, it seems lay-offs and restructuring are the norm. Managers are often moved around the firm across verticals so you never build a team. Also, read up on EOP / Equity Office, many of upper management came from this related entity that which we share office space. you will see the vision of Revantage was built off of what seems like another heavily OT/no reward business.

I worked at Revantage full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Industry, Resources, definitely potential. The company is more stable than the elevators that are used to get up to the office.

    Cons

There has been over-reliance on manual & existing processes. Top-level management says that process need to change and improve. Few people manager-level & down are actually supporting the process improvement initiative. Those that do attempt to improve processes are recognized as more bothersome than helpful.

I have been working at Revantage full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Outstanding opportunity to work for a start up inside one of the world's largest real estate investment firms. Culture offers ability to bring new ideas to the table and take on new responsibilities. Excellent and affordable benefits package comes with very competitive PTO/Holiday and Summer Hours. Fun quarterly social outings including trivia, games, and more provide much appreciated time to relax and connect with co-workers.

    Cons

Ambitious start up culture is exciting, but can create intense workload at times. Work from home is on a department by department basis.

I have been working at Revantage full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    1) Access to supportive, smart, and collaborative thinkers and doers across the org. Startup feel, and lots of professional growth opportunities at any level. 2) Highly competitive benefits and perks. Free access to state-of-the art gym. Great office, with free beer, kombucha, cold brew on tap and tons of snacks at the newly renovated office. Facilities include pool tables, ping pong tables, etc.

    Cons

Management should aim to be more transparent, and embody more of a "fail fast" culture. Should actively structure in more opportunities for junior-level personnel to continue to shape the organization and take on special projects.

I have been working at Revantage full-time for less than a year

    Pros

great learning experience; exposed to a broad range of responsibilities at all levels; everyone works hard; salaries are competitive; company is growing rapidly and there is always a lot of learning through the growth

    Cons

while gaining exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, quickly leading to employee burnout; behaviors are tolerated which would otherwise be deemed terminable with other Co's.; human resources department is a mess and not viewed as subject matter experts

I worked at Revantage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

401k match and location. That’s it.

    Cons

Absolutely zero concern for the lower level employees. Management is too busy dealing with demands from Blackstone/verticals to focus on their employees. Morale was completely gone. Their stated goal in meetings was to hire recent college grads. Why? Because they can pay them less to do more work. No desire to properly invest in technology to improve efficiency, or, when they do, implement it so haphazardly as to nullify its benefits. No worthwhile communication from the top down. They throw new work and responsibilities at you without any training/guidance then respond to you when concerns are voiced with platitudes like “we hear you.” Another review mentioned employees leaving every week. That’s pretty accurate from my experience. They say they’re hiring due to growth. I guess in the same way your hair experiences growth after you cut it.

    Revantage Response

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry that you feel this way about your experience at Revantage. Revantage is working hard to develop our technology services to better serve our department needs. We apologize if there is a lag of communication towards these efforts. Additionally, being such a new company, some of our programs are still in the process of being rolled out. Our Director of Learning and Development, recently rolled out our new Learning and Development portal: “Develop” (https://vimeo.com/357822947). This portal was designed for employees to easily access programs, tools and resources to help maximize professional development. In addition, we are also beginning to conduct trainings across levels and departments to make sure that employees feel well supported in their roles and with their responsibilities. Lastly Revantage is an equal opportunity employer, and we hire individuals based on skills and experience regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, physical or mental disability, or age. This being said, we take all of your feedback seriously and will actively work on not only improving our employee experience but also making sure our team members are well informed on the strides we are making towards the the growth of Revatnage.
