I have been working at Rigor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Rigor invests in their employees - Professional Development is encouraged (and funded) allowing you to improve skills in needed areas.
    2) Constant coaching to help accelerate your path to success.
    3) Results oriented - every department publishes their accomplishments weekly; it creates a sense of accountability across the entire company.
    4) The culture is amazing and you can tell everyone wants to see you succeed.

    Cons

    1) The tempo is fast; if you don’t like operating with a sense of urgency or have a “make-a-difference” attitude, you will struggle here. Those aren’t bad things for growth stage companies but they are not for everyone.

    Advice to Management

    1) Seize the moment - accelerate faster given the addressable market.
    2) Further expand the technical moat.
    3) Keep hiring top talent, no need to settle.

I have been working at Rigor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Been at Rigor almost 3 years
-Endless opportunities to make an impact
-Pay & promotion status matches work ethic
    -Constant internal recognition
    -Fast-paced & competitive (in a good way)
-Encourages vacation and days off (if you're a consistent performer)
-Work from home day every Thursday (HUGE PLUS!!!)
    -Flexible to individual work style
-Love the actual work I do

    Cons

-Fast-paced startup means constantly changing processes so if you're not good with change this is not the place for you (Adaptability is key)

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in top performers and keep handing out those professional development dollars (having $2500 to spend each year on my own personal training and development is huge and RARE!!)

I have been working at Rigor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Visibility throughout many parts of business
    - Fun environment to work in
    - Great perks and coworkers
    - Ability to make a difference every day at work and drive toward a common goal

    Cons

    - Too many cooks in the kitchen sometimes. Let's set a goal and achieve it.. fast.

    Advice to Management

Hire 'A' players. Don't hire someone just to fill a void, rather hire the right people who are ready to work hard and make a positive difference to the bottom line.

I have been working at Rigor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone works towards a common goal. It's a small company so you get the chance to meet everyone. They genuinely care about their employees and we get team outings, some free meals, and other events! Everyone is passionate about their jobs, and you are bound to be recognized for your achievements.

    Cons

As it's getting bigger, some of the small-company benefits (cohesive work environment) will probably start to shade, but hopefully other different benefits will start to show from there.

I have been working at Rigor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Filled with intelligent, driven people who take great pride in what they do. Amazing results-based environment fueled by a strong positive culture. The teams are tight-knit and motivated to help Rigor grow and succeed.

    Cons

It is a fast-paced environment with a lot going on, so someone who is not strong in communication or not tech savvy could struggle to keep up with the countless events/activities/opportunities that occur in and out of the office on a regular basis.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I have been working at Rigor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company to fast track your career in software sales, marketing and engineering. Lots of career opportunities, leadership doesn't micro-manage, and top performers are constantly praised and held up.

    Cons

Rigor's laid back and results-oriented work environment can be daunting for those accustomed to rigid structure.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on developing and promoting internal talent as you grow. Don't lose sight of your values and hire A-players.

I have been working at Rigor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Incredible talent - only A players who are smart, fun, and driven. One of the most talented groups of people I've ever worked with.

Product - the Rigor product is easy-to-use and solves a major business pain point. The usability, reliability, and unique value prop mean a major market advantage. Rigor has proprietary offerings that other vendors are 2 years behind in developing.

Culture - flexible vacation, 401k match, good health insurance, prof development budget for every employee, 2 free lunches/week, unlimited snacks & drinks, champagne fridge for celebrations, community service events as a team...all with great people who care about Rigor and their work. Doesn't get much better :)

    Cons

Located in the Atlanta Tech Village (awesome) which is on a "hot corner" of Buckhead near 400 (not awesome). Traffic and the parking deck can be tricky but being close to Marta and flexible work hours help.

If you want someone to tell you exactly what to do or don't like change, Rigor's not the place for you. We move fast and are learning as we go.

    Advice to Management

Keep the focus on the people and communication. Those are the keys. We're doing exactly what we need to be doing. Stay the course!
