    Pros

Flexibility, incredible benefits package, great team to work with, ability to work from home when needed, Lots of training opportunities, both in house & not

    Cons

Local customer requirements are all over the place, still new to the area & trying to grow local business from nearby bases. A lot of potential & travel opportunities

    Advice to Management

Keep remote sites involved with the business development & other ongoings. Don't merge vacation and sick leave into "paid time off"

I have been working at SRC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company has a great mission. The people that work at the company are a very close family. The benefits are also unmatched.

    Cons

The company is stuck in a research and development mentality. There is a need for business acumen as the company moves to compete with larger DOD contractors.

    Advice to Management

Recent changes are welcome by the more business minded individuals in the company. Keep on the path to make the company more competitive. The outlook is good!

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at SRC full-time

    Pros

Flexible Schedule. PTO accrues to 3 weeks at start. 401k company match. Good work environment. Work/life balance is above average.

    Cons

401k only fully vested after 5 years. Does not pay for full gym membership. No clear career path meaning advancement is nonexistent or obscure. Monotonous.

    Advice to Management

Provide clear goals to even the lowest tier of workers so they can achieve if it is what they desire.

    Cons

I worked at SRC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Benefits and the company does try make the employee happy.
    Good people work there

    Cons

Management needs an injection of new business practices. Holding onto the old at the expense of the new. Hoping for new business won't do when you need to go out and get that new business.
Much older employees are tolerated at the expense of the new ones. Not allowing your younger and capable employees to move up get the experience vital to keeping the company current and competitive.

    Advice to Management

Take charge of your sites. Not all of them are managed properly. Stop looking at just their money management. Get some new faces in there with some fresh ideas on running business and the culture.
