Pros

Leaders and team members are HCM/WFM/Payroll industry experts, laser focused on leading clients through software solution implementations. If you've implemented in that segment you fit right in. I love that the company's growth has been directed at helping our clients even before they begin a project (vendor selection & org readiness), and that we care about client success. I hear about keeping our culture a good one all the time. How our personal (non-work) interests and talents are valued, how we all work hard and have time for family, too. Colleagues help one another, every day. I forget sometimes that our company is 100% virtual (we don't have an office - anywhere - we all work from home!); I've made great friends even though we rarely see one another. There is some travel, but much less than other companies where I've worked in a similar role (1-2x/project.) Sability has been recognized with awards for promoting work/life balance, and those awards were driven by comments of our team members. I love working from home! Final Pro: our leaders are accessible and want to hear from us. Everyone interviews with the CEO before joining the company (something that was new to me.)

Cons

Positives can be cons, too. We're 100% remote, so it's very rare that I see a teammate in person (though more are using video chat and that helps.) I wish we had more of a routine of meeting with our team face to face. We are growing faster, started over the last 12 months, and that's brought some challenges and change, especially larger teams, and we could use some better tools to help with our work coordination. Sability is a "bring your own device" company, and that means maintaining your laptop and mobile in top shape is up to you (I worry about having down time should something break.) This isn't uncommon, but something to be aware of since we have responsibility to have quality internet at home, and quality equipment. There is no company contribution to my benefits, so they are much more expensive than anywhere else I ever worked (my salary is good, but I still took a bit of an overall loss in comp when I came to Sability.)

Pros

Great company with flexibility in hours and the ability to work from anywhere. Love the people that are always willing to help no matter what. Love the clients and being able to meet and review client set ups and help them improve. Love the feeling that I am making a difference for each client. The people I work with are incredible. I feel that each of us bring some strength that the other might not have, causing us to be a power horse team. Wonderful Management team and staff.

Cons

Lots of travel with no corporate travel card or program. Causes a burden to the employee. Management does not just manage, they also work on projects. Though management is wonderful, this is a downside because of them being so busy. I don't see huge room for advancement. Only other con, (though not really a con) is that because we are always so busy, we don't always get the recognition for a job well done or to speak on issues.

Pros

Being a virtual employee (the whole firm is), my personal scheduling is VERY flexible. I personally have the ability to start early and end on time. And work life balance is VITAL to management. They are constantly pushing us to maintain a reasonable work load.

Cons

As a virtual employee, I don't get to see my co-workers face-to-face, except via video conferencing. If you can get past that, then it's a great firm to work for.
