I have been working at Sayers Technology full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Sayers has an amazing culture that keeps employees around for a long time. They also have great engineering talent that customers view as an extension of their own team. Management is accessible and open to new ideas.

    Cons

Sayers isn't the best marketing company in the world. They're great at what they do but don't do the best job getting that message out. There are steps being taken to rectify this but there's a long way to go.

    Advice to Management

Maintain the culture as the company continues to grow.

Fun work environment, and a great place to learn/start a career.

    Cons

I have been working at Sayers Technology full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Sayers Technology allows people to continuously learn new technologies while focusing on long-term customer retention. There is an independence given to its employees that allow each of us to determine who and when we will get our work accomplished without missing important personal events.

    Cons

Sayers is a mid-sized company with a small company feel, so if you prefer to work at a large organization, Sayers might not be fit.

    Pros

The family-oriented culture, great co-workers, and supportive senior leadership that truly cares about every single employee's success.

    Cons

We are a small company in growth mode, so every now and then, we experience some growing pains.

I have been working at Sayers Technology full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

The company is dedicated to investing in employees and helping to identify opportunities for success and growth. Culture is important and taken very seriously.

    Cons

Sometimes it's necessary to do things outside of your job description to help with the greater good.

I worked at Sayers Technology full-time

    Pros

It's a job with some level of benefits.

    Cons

I don't know about any of the other Sayers locations, but the Moline location encourages preferential treatment based on affiliation. Family and close friends of the management will move up to better positions- even without relevant experience or education- while "outsiders" stay locked in dead-end jobs. This also means that these people can spend more time watching tv, shopping online, or playing on their cellphones-...

    Advice to Management

HR should be more involved in hiring decisions for this location. The least biased methodology would be to test candidates, and stay involved in skills that individual employees offer. You're losing some very smart and talented people due to promotions going to the wrong people.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Sayers Technology full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

I've worked for Sayers for 6+ years and it's been one of the best companies I've worked for. They are very family oriented provide a great work/life balance. Salary and benefits are comparable with other jobs in my area.

    Cons

Contract work is subject to ending.

I worked at Sayers Technology full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Great place to be long-term; stable company, loyal to employees; very realistic expectations of workers. Management team legitimately cares about their people. If you work hard they will take care of you.

    Cons

Only a small to mid-sized company; not necessarily a place where you "climb the ladder". Bigger companies might offer bigger year 1 salaries - need to look at this long term. Training isn't extensive - you need to be somewhat self-sufficient.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop the postitive company culture that you have.
