Great company, great people, great culture!
Apr 27, 2023 - Senior Project ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Sayers is wonderful. -They allowed me to work remote (travel when necessary to meet people in person, which is great), and have given me a work-life balance back. -Their culture is fantastic. There is an employee first mentality, it feels like one big family, and everyone just wants to do a great job for our clients. -The people are wonderful. Everyone is easy to work with and helpful. Coming from a previous larger/more Corporate structure, a true "we're all in this together" dynamic has been a wonderful change of pace. -Managers/Leadership is great. They focus on giving opportunities for you to learn/grow based on your career desires. A great company all around!
Cons
None that I can think of. :)

Sayers puts the Value in Value Added Reseller
Apr 23, 2023 - Sr. Solutions Architect in Vernon Hills, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Sayers offers a great culture that allows their employees flexibility along with competitive pay and benefits. Most, if not all, of their management team has been there well over ten years and a lot of their sales team and engineers have been there for a long time as well. You know Sayers must be doing something right to be able to retain their employees for such long periods of time. They have an ESOP program at Sayers as well which you get vested in more over time. The technical talent level of their engineering delivery team is top-notch and the white-glove service that they bring to their customers gives them a competitive advantage over the larger VAR's as well.
Cons
Sayers may not be a good fit for you if you are the type of person that just wants to focus in on one particular area of technology and not be a continuous learner. It is a smaller company so engineers typically need to be well versed across multiple technology stacks and wear a few different hats as needed. Personally, I think this is a good thing, but it may not be for everyone.

Sayers Culture is Unmatched
Feb 24, 2023 - Sr. Project Manager in Vernon Hills, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I came for the promise of a family-like culture, and I stayed because that is exactly what I got. The people make Sayers the best company I've worked for. Employees are cared for and appreciated by peers and upper management. It is hard to find a workplace that can hold true to their cultural values in a world that has adapted to remote work, but Sayers genuinely makes employee morale their top priority.
Cons
None that I can think of. I honesty can't think of a better place to work.

Disorganized. Us against them mentality - even within the company. Sales vs. Operations. Discontent.

Amazing Culture & Place To Grow
May 23, 2022 - Senior Project ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Every single person I met through the interview process was so down to earth and personable that accepting the offer to join Sayers was a no-brainer. Everyone loves what they do and the support you receive from all levels of the organization is amazing. I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day and it's because of the people at Sayers and the company culture.
Cons
Honestly nothing - I've found a company that cares about me and my career growth so I couldn't be happier.

No Room For Growth

You get to see the US for free
Cons
No room for growth. The bonus structure is built around whos the project managers friend. I was very education in the IT world, took many classes and was always denied a raise and or a promotion even when positions were available. Worked for 3 years with no raise. A lot of questionable behavior was happening and when you reported it, you were asked to let it go and keep quiet. Its really not a company that you'd expect to retire from You were only allowed to be home Saturdays. That wasnt enough Time with wives, kids and family.

Great company to work at with an awesome culture and family like feel.
Nov 22, 2021 - Director, Project Management Office in Vernon Hills, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
ESOP! High-performing, supportive and employee focused culture. The people here are really smart and willing to help other employees be successful regardless of position or department. Leadership is open-minded, genuine and forward thinking. They routinely request feedback on performance (company and leadership), and report results and actions back to the employees. It is a very comfortable environment where you can reach out to, chat with and also have fun with pretty much everyone!
Cons
Not for lack of tryng...it is hard to keep up with staffing needs as we continue to grow.
