Pros

Job security, new manager seems to want to improve things but doesn't know how the history has shaped the present

Cons

Work culture = we're a family, so we can ask you do anything even if it's not in your jd and then you won't advance any further and your pay will stay the same. "let's hustle guys", followed by 'we couldn't get funding from AP'. Bullying, Intimidation/Stand over tactics by various managers, Gossip, Politics, Sexism, Homophobia, Cliques, I've seen and heard it all. I thought there's no way a business of Aus Post would have this stuff but it does/did. Thinking about reporting it? They'll gaslight you and say speak to EAP about it. Relationships = people that are called 'engineers' but they've never actually engineered anything in the years and years they've been there. A lot of dead wood that don't do much of anything.

Stuck in 1921 not 2021

Pros

Salary was ok, parent company is Aus Post which has some good perks and great people, other then that this is a company that is stuck in the past.

Cons

Ancient technology, unfriendly coworkers, and no product to sell. This place is stuck in 1921 at best not even getting close to 2021. There technology is ancient, there product does not integrate with anything or if it does integrate it wont work properly, and no one wants to change anything at all from top down. To add to that, its parent company has no idea what to do with it and as such nothing has been updated in close to 15 plus years. Sales team culture is a bit of a joke , coworkers are basically a bunch of guys who have been there for ages and are a little scared of outsiders , new starters, and anyone with any original thought (with the exception of a few), and management is a group of yes men who are still pushing a product as "revolutionary"even though there have no updates since 2010 with there most recent crowning achievement being We Chat Pay (which literally no one asks for). Most of the good people have left so don't waste your time with this place. The tech these guys use is so ancient Indiana Jones will probably star in a movie about it someday.

Pros

Smaller company so lots of opportunity to develop skills and get involved

Cons

Restructuring of sales team constantly means lower morale and lack of sales growth
