Good entry point, but toxic culture and stagnation
Pros
I joined TPP without a computer science degree and it was a good way to break into the industry.
Cons
I would recommend staying for no more than 1 year (I ended up staying longer than that, and my growth definitely stagnated). They are good at upskilling you from 0->1 but beyond that, they don’t follow any industry practices. People working here are super smart but if you want to go on to work at proper tech companies you will need to learn a LOT of industry standard techniques and processes in your next job after leaving. And this isn’t even touching on the toxic work culture - I can’t speak to how it is now but when I was there there was a huge blame culture and paranoia. Not a nice environment to work in, and it destroyed a lot of people’s mental health. However, if just doing for a year to get experience, I guess there are worse things.
