    Pros

The work you do ultimately helps people.
Some of the trainers are wonderful.
Most of the people there truly are compassionate and love helping and working with others in need.
This job is a great stepping stone to other opportunities only.

    Cons

HR is not onsite, so getting any help is like pulling teeth.
Trainers are not trained properly so training is at best a play by ear event.
This company doesn't protect it's employees and is very unorganized and upper management lies very well.
Employees are under paid and overworked.
Systems do not work and makes it harder for employees to effectively and efficiently perform adequately. And the employees are penalized for this.

    Advice to Management

    Protect and support your employees.
    Properly train your trainers.
Hire HR staff that is going to be onsite and able to communicate with employees.
Invest in your employees financially. Pay them more and incorporate changes that make people want to be there longer than a couple of months or past training.
Invest in systems that will handle the work load.
Share the wealth with employees versus lining the companies pocket.

    Pros

Excellent intranet with social aspects for connecting with colleagues (including org charts, resources, interaction, etc.)
Onboarding is great: there's a mobile app which texts you at certain milestones to help you get acclimated and educated.
Technology provided is more than adequate, and the IT teams are responsive.
Benefits are great and focused on whole-person.
The work is challenging and we're always encouraged to push higher and farther.
Flexibility in work is provided for through technological accessibility.

    Cons

Coordinating globally can be challenging, but when you use the tools at hand it can be done.

I have been working at TTEC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule if you ask at least 24hours ahead. Time management/rules are very fair. Team leads and co-workers are super friendly and are a great support when you have questions, so customers calls are resolved most of the time. Training is very easy and laid back. The work experience is a great way to learn how to be quick on your feet, patient, & adaptive with different callers. This is a great place to start for those who are very new to working or those who are introverted as it teaches listening skills & how to be more understanding/helpful to those in need. If you want personal growth or looking to pursue a career, this may be just something temporary for you.

The work itself involves looking up solutions from a knowledge base & guide the client to resolve it. Over time, there is a pattern of the type of calls you receive so resolving issues get easier over time.

    Cons

On the floor, it gets a bit repetitive after some time (for personal development).
    No room for growth

    Advice to Management

More frequent meetings to build bonding & loyalty.
If there are pay increases, there would be lower turnover & easier workload.

    I worked at TTEC part-time

    Pros

It was easy to work from home. The training stage is orderly and the trainers are professional.

    Cons

The understanding of the technology needed for this job might be difficult for some. An example is downloading all of the software for your home computer.

I have been working at TTEC full-time

    Pros

    Decent starting wage. Intriguing projects

    Cons

Communication is horrible. Call Center is like middle school. Undeserved promotions and a lack of efficiency and accountability.

    Advice to Management

Make the correct decisions when promoting someone, if it doesn't pan out then replace them. Listen to your team, we will tell you what we need. Team leads need to hold their team accountable and not reward them for missing days. Team lead needs to make sure others are doing work so they can do their job to the best of their ability. Could be the area but the quality of employees is very low. This job is cake, yet I stress constantly about issues that have an easy solution. When celebrating achievements, a certain shift will be not included, we often are ignored altogether
