    Pros

    - remote all the time! No concerns about needing to live near an office and can live where I want - teams are getting better about hiring mature adults. No more startup mentality.

    Cons

    - still need to weed out some of those bad apples - we need to hire more people on the sales team

    Leadership has a company-wide plan that they communicate out regularly to all employees. People truly collaborate with one another. People really care about one another and about growing the business together.

    Pros

    I’ve worked at Talkdesk for 3 years. It hasn’t been perfect or easy - we’ve had a lot of growing pains. However, last 6 months have been amazing. Amazing. Can’t say enough good things about my manager and the leadership in this company.

    Growing pains for many years affected many employees. It wasn’t easy.

    fast pace, growing brand. It's a good place to learn

    I have been working at Talkdesk full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    I have been on board 6 months, and am extremely impressed with the moves Talkdesk is making as a company, for its people, and for our customers. The company has focused on transparency as we strategically move upmarket given the massive uptick in engagement as COVID makes Talkdesk's value proposition even more compelling. I have seen turnover in sales during this time, which is something I was told to expect when joining. Change is disruptive, but I am very impressed with the direction leadership is taking the field organization. Expectations of large Enterprises require that we quickly upskill and recruit top talent who understand all the work, planning, communication and focus required to succeed. Despite joining during COVID, leadership at Talkdesk has been extraordinarily engaged at ensuring a workplace culture that is "better, better, never best". In Solution Engineering, the pressure is on to bring all our new innovations to market, and we have great alignment with our Product, Professional Services and Customer Success teams to deliver.

    Cons

    At 1,100 employees, you get what you would expect. Change is the norm, and you need to have the mentality that you are building something. If it is broken, speak up and be passionate about what it takes to be successful.
