Pros

Professional and nice colleagues. Office environment is well designed. Curriculum is structured and well crafted. Pay is comfortable. Observations and feedbacks to help you grow and improve.

Cons

Have to work on weekends, and 2 late days (till 930) Hard to schedule meetup with friends when your hours are not in sync. Last minute cover classes are quite common. sometimes have to cover classes back to back @ two different venues. Students can be quite a handful sometimes.

A company that lost its way due to ineffective leadership

Pros

The pay is comfortable, and most colleagues are nice. Decent progression opportunities due to the preference to promote internally for most positions.

Cons

The current senior management team is seriously ill-equipped to bring the company forward. 90% of the senior management have left the company over the past 2 years and replaced with cheaper unqualified replacements. The new CEO is nothing more than a yes man who agrees to everything the investors demand. Every single decision is made with consideration to maximising profits and nothing else. The current CEO and senior management team makes no effort to interact with the staff. Majority of the teachers and other staff members have never even seen their faces. Feedback from the ground is disregarded. Entire departments are let go in order to cut costs. While the salary may be decent, the benefits are bare minimal. A couple years back, someone asked HR during a townhall about the possibility of introducing flexible benefits. HR's response was "What's flexible benefit?".

Pros

- Some of the colleagues are nice - Nothing else

Cons

- Management is very messy - allow 1 manager to be the sole dictator - Many executives left and now, even assistant manager left. - HR team kept changing, noone really do anything about feedbacks collected from the exit interviews - Long working hours and low pay
