I have been working at Tourneau full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Solid pay and good hours. It can be a fun job if you enjoy watches and interacting with different types of customers. It's all about the team you work with so each store has a different environment.

    Cons

If you wish to move up in the company you generally have to move to a different state since there are only 30 Tourneau stores through out the country.

I worked at Tourneau full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Sales staff and assistant director, great.
    Good money to be made.

    Cons

Casino hours. Poor insurance. Questionable commission structure for sales staff.

    Advice to Management

Hire store directors who care about the staff.
Unhappy staff translates to unhealthy customer service. Never worked with such a scattered person in charge. I understand the bottom line is very important but not at the staffs expense and self esteem.

I worked at Tourneau (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I gained a lot of knowledge to work somewhere else

    Cons

Impossible goals so no commissions, horrible benefits, terrible HR, elimination of training and constant blame game

    Advice to Management

Looks like HR no longer claims this profile. I guess they got tired of reading all the negative reviews. Do you read the newspaper? Even the Post is writing about how horrible Tourneau is....no one wants to buy it anymore.

Good training. Good opportunity to make good commissions. Creating relationships with customers to demonstrate excellent timepieces, more than 50 brands from Switzerland.

    Cons

I do not have any cons. Because I was happy with my position. But I was Layoff because they close the location that I worked for six years.

    Advice to Management

I do not have any advice to management. Was a good experience to work for them. I learned the art of luxury timepieces sales.

    Pros

The product is impressive. Some of the finest watches to be seen.

    Cons

Too many list in this box.
-No diversity: Everyone is basically white in the corporate office and upper management. Shameful given how multicultural other industries are today.
-No HR: There is an "HR Department," but they do nothing but ignite distrust in the company. They have caused the low morale in the company. HR is truly a virus.
-Store closings: Bad relationships with vendors has made them leave and do business elsewhere.
-No growth: No growth and low pay.
-No culture: Actually there is culture, and it's terrible.

    Advice to Management

When is the CEO's contract over? Please take the HR team with you.
