Pros
TransTech was one of the best transcription companies left after the basic decimation of the industry. They, however, 'merged' with IMedX a couple of years ago.
Cons
There were really no cons with TransTech. The IMedX merger resulted in a cut in pay, layoffs, and other benefit losses.

Pros
Some managers are ex transcriptionists/editors so they have a great handle on the work. IT dept one of the best I have ever worked with in trans. Good tools/style guides for most accounts. Compensation for broadband, foot pedal and speakers available to those in need.
Cons
Merger with M*Modal killed line counts and opportunities to get jobs. Inconsistent proofing editors send mixed messages about style/formatting. Some accounts are almost entirely ESL with poor quality audio; not TTM's fault, but it kills the counts, thus it's a deterrent.
