Pros

Domain Some good people there

Cons

The CEO’s management style is toxic, immature, and unprofessional, leaving you with a constant sense of unease. He micromanages nearly every aspect of the day-to-day operations across most teams. Despite claiming to have the highest sales IQ, his decisions often suggest otherwise. There’s no structured onboarding or ramp-up period for business development roles. Instead, you’re handed poorly written, long-winded pdfs - that’s the extent of their "training." No clear processes, no high-level guidance, just disorganization. From day one, everything you know and do will be questioned. The CEO disregards your background and expertise, insisting on using his clunky presentation and email templates, which have proven ineffective time and again. Prepare for daily critiques and rude comments about your approach. There’s zero independence or trust- you’re expected to follow his rules without question. Company has a high turnover rate: they’re looking for people who will stay silent and comply. The company, based in Ukraine, aims to break into the U.S. market, but their brand isn’t strong enough to succeed. If you’re American or Canadian, you might want to think twice before joining. HR processes? Practically non-existent. Lastly, don’t be fooled by the glowing 5-star reviews. Many of them are written under pressure from the CEO, who doesn’t hesitate to threaten employees with consequences for not complying.

Pros

I really appreciate the opportunities I've had to learn from senior analysts and engineers. I feel like I rapidly expanded my skillset. It is easy to grow a T-shaped personality when working with UnderDefense. My warmest reagrds to the C-level. They were very supportive, and I was always encouraged to ask questions and share my ideas. Top benefits I found here: - reasonable compensation plan with bonuses for KPI achivement - rapidly growing company with well defined structure - innovative environment full of challanges that promote self development - agile approach and proper work balance

Cons

Overall I am satisfied with what I had there. I think the company could streamline some of internal processes for developing and deploying new procedures when working with the partners and resellers. There's potential for greater efficiency here.

Pros

Selling here is not for everyone. The expectations are high, and there’s nowhere to hide if you miss quota. The CEO is direct and keeps you on your toes and you always know where you stand. Some months feel like a sprint with nonstop client calls, shifting priorities, and big targets. That said, if you perform, the upside is huge. Closing deals and hitting quota is rewarded very well. It’s motivating to see that strong performance doesn’t go unnoticed. On top of that, the new Sales Director is amazing – clear, focused, and supportive. Working with him brings a lot of positive energy and structure to the sales org.

Cons

The pressure to deliver can be tough, and missing your number is felt immediately.
