I worked at UniGroup full-time
Pros
Great cafeteria on site with good food selection.
Cons
The new CIO hired contractors that worked systematically on destroying self-organized teams. These contractors acted like their existence dependent on how many "issues" they can report and how many people they can fire. They where not interested in connecting with the teams or solving real issues. The people managers contributed with passivity. It did not matter how long you worked there or what you produced; if you made it onto their list they disposed you.
The CIO help creating a cult, asks for a dialog and new ideas but understandably only few speak out.

Pros
I really like working here, they take care of employees they value. Lots of fun activities, a decent gym and workout area and a nice locker room.
Cons
You get the impression form lesser paid employees that they are not valued as much. Some people are chained to their desks unless "allowed to leave." Which is concerning. While my experience hasn't been that way, I'm afraid of ever leaving my department (thereby foregoing any opportunity for growth) to end up with one of the dictator-like managers you hear about. IT is valued more than any other department and it's plain as day. They have new furniture and a nice environment. The rest of the buildings look like they haven't been cleaned since the 80's let alone remodeled.
Advice to Management
There should be consistency between management.
I worked at UniGroup full-time
Pros
Lots of opportunity to advance.
Good benefits - workout facility on-premise, workout classes, in-house cafeteria, health, dental, short-term disability, and life.
Online training.
In-house bank.
Conveniently located.
Great people.
Great opportunities in IT to learn and be creative. Great people and staff to work with in IT.
Cons
Not many opportunities for IT to advance.
UniGroup is dealing with other companies taking a part of the their market share.
Driver shortage - Affects their ability to increase business. They are working hard to figure that out.

I worked at UniGroup full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Pretty easy-going atmosphere
Very nice coworkers
Flexible hours (may leave earlier if arrive earlier)
Managers are flexible enough to give you days off if needed
Cons
Don't expect to rise to the top of the ladder. Usually, they hire outsiders to be managers, instead of employees who've been there for 15 years.
Long hours in front of a computer
Not enough room for advancement
HR takes long time to make contract employees full-time
Company seems to be slowly dying. Young people are using U-Haul or other, cheaper services, not a company that charges $10,000 for a move.
I have been working at UniGroup full-time
Pros
EASY job, with a lot of training.
Cons
FAVORITISM and a weird work culture.
Advice to Management
be more approachable, friendly and fair when it comes to overtime.

Pros
Building is modern and has a great cafeteria.
Cons
As expected with the Transportation Industry, it is top heavy with male managers; defers to younger workers, salaries are not commensurate with position responsibility.
Advice to Management
Streamline operations; promote diversity; make it worthwhile to walk thru the door each day.

Pros
I've been here a few years, and the culture is currently attempting a 180 in the right direction. I can't say I was ever completely dissatisfied with that, but their improvements are major. There is always something fun going on here. The work life balance (at least in my department) has always been positive. Relatively casual dress code that allows for jeans and comfy shoes daily. On site gym and cafeteria.
Cons
The cafeteria is hit or miss and the food prices are getting a bit high. Front line employees are underpaid, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for growth.
Advice to Management
Compensate employees equally.

I have been working at UniGroup full-time (More than 10 years)
Pros
They have their own cafeteria
Cons
The people in charge don't know anything about IT and constantly demand it change directions. Usually spending millions to go one direction only for the next board or manager to contradict and go the opposite. In the end they get no where and have a hodgepodge of legacy programs that don't work well together and have spent more on half started projects then if they would have done one good one to completion from the beginning.
Advice to Management
Let an actual IT person run IT and stop giving directions from suits that need secretary's to send emails. Stop changing managers and directions. Get rid of the legacy programs. Condense all these mismatched programs in to 1 modern program with a user friendly GUI
