      Good salary and nice colleagues, but promotions are tough

      Pros

      Good salary, better than the most in the market. Nice employees and approachable. Events are cool. You could be onboarded onshore if the project needs you. You get paid for severance pay right on time.

      Cons

      Lack of relevant immersive trainings for people who are not that knowledgeable with AI. Lack of support from the management especially for a new project. Concerns about the team are not being prioritized. Some people get laid off without an option to be retooled. Budget is tight. Promotion is hard. You don't have bonuses as much. Christmas hampers are low budgeted compared to the old years.

      Strong engineering culture with real ownership over technical decisions. Modern stack and the freedom to pick the right tools for the job. Smart, collaborative teammates who genuinely care about code quality. Good exposure to architecture-level work and cross-functional projects. Flexible enough to balance delivery with mentoring junior engineers.

      Cons

      Scope can stretch quickly, so leads end up wearing too many hats. Process and documentation sometimes lag behind how fast the team ships. Career ladder for ICs vs. management isn't always clearly defined. Compensation reviews can feel slow relative to market movement. Cross-team alignment occasionally adds friction to otherwise simple decisions.
