Truth about VFG System

Pros

A good idea IF they focused on marketing to consumers and selling product. They don't. These other reviews are drinking the koolaid.

Cons

Very similar to Multi Level Marketing in practice. VFG markets as an opportunity to make money, the they sell insurance to respondents and those that sign-up in whatever capacity. Good insurance agencies market to sell the product and build a sales force with separate advertising. VFG has separate websites for selling product and the opportunity; however, there is no focus in training or practice to sell insurance products to consumers only. VFG is opportunity focused. Lemmings follow over the cliff. Look at the founders past. They have scrupulous history (complaints, activity even legal issues) that indicate poor character.

This is a bogus review, first he remains completely anonymous and won't even say where they are from. If they did we could identify if they were actually associated with our company or not. We have had fake reviews posted in an attempt to drive our web traffic to another site by black hat internet marketers. The fact that he attacks other reviews is a sign of a false review or a real bitter unhappy insecure individual. Let's get to the ignorant statements & false claims here. Transamerica grew 66% last year with a better marketing plan and the traditional industry grew only 1% and he is advocating the traditional sales only approach which is why the industry is shrinking and most agents do not make it. We offer weekly sales and product only training every single Thursday at 8am PST and regularly bring in the wholesalers from Transamerica, Voya & Nationwide as well as Industry veterans. We maintain an up to date library of over 30 recent classes and have a step by step 38 page Financial Consultants manual specifically for our sales & product training. So it is clearly not true that there is no focus in training to sell products. We also have training Monday's, Tuesday's & Saturday's all live and the recordings posted in our 3-D virtual environment. It is true we are opportunity focused as well and have great lading pages and websites for both sides of the business. We have 3 founders and none of us has ever had a customer complaint and I have been licensed for 29 years. Transamerica is who are reps are contracted with and they did their due diligence on us and were excited to be involved in business with us & Virtual Financial This is why we love Glassdoor and the ability to respond to any false or misleading info and set the record straight. Let me cut to the chase: We work with WFG a Transamerica Company who paid out over $1,886,000 per day 7 days per week in Nov of 2014 alone.($56.6 Million in one Month) Transamerica's Parent Company is AEGON a Global Half a Trillion Dollar Powerhouse. We have over 100 World Class Carriers, 300 Home Office Transamerica employees a $20 million dollar computer system that processes over 100,000 transactions daily and The Highest payouts in the Industry with 126% Paid out to the field on Transamerica Products and a 100% Advance with 40% on Submission and 5.85% Renewals on Term and 3.42% in IUL. Pros

Virtual Financial is without question the greatest business opportunity I have ever encountered in a long career that spans both corporate America and independent entrepreneurship. It is very, very rare, if ever in our lives, that we have the opportunity to play a role in something on the leading edge of a paradigm shift that will change not only this $6 trillion industry, but spill over into many others. I am proud to be associated with the other men and women who have posted insightful comments here about the unprecedented accessibility of the Virtual Financial business model to people from all walks of life—a major key to its power. I am proud to be able to offer others who would not otherwise become financial experts the opportunity to own and operate a REAL business that fits their lifestyle, that they can be proud of, and with which they can REALISTICALLY create the life they have dreamed of—and with virtually no startup cost or overhead... no risk. Truly an oasis amidst all of the hyped-up, false-promises "opportunities" out there, as well as a home for seasoned professionals who want to create a better lifestyle and have vision for the future. The leadership is also, by far, the best I have encountered. Owners are in the trenches with the rest of us, and derive their income solely from the same (outstanding) compensation program, so they are able to serve as a model and inspiration, while simultaneously working to perfect tools, training and systems.

Cons

Bumps in the road early on—just like any startup that is doing something that has never been done before. All resolved; not even an issue. Attracted a few of the wrong types of reps at the beginning—those who think they can make a quick buck and not support and guide others through a system. Gone. We're all wiser. (These are the only types I can imagine complaining.) Most do not make big money fast (although it is possible) and may need a cushion or other source of income at first, but... for those who are committed to building people and building something of value, there is NOTHING else that can take them where Virtual Financial will. And the time frame is a tiny fraction of what it would take to be profitable in any traditional business or franchise. Believe me, it is way more than worth it!

Pros

I am building an Agency that is designed to take advantage of the trends in the Insurance Industry. Working from home and selling policies across the country allows me to build a business of unlimited size with incredible income potential. I have given up my $1,700 a month office, gasoline costs and other expenses for $19.95 a month. The most important thing I save is TIME. I now have agents working in 11 States and growing. Significant research shows that insurance clients are more open to working with agents through collaborative selling rather than inviting someone into their home. The pay is the best in the industry and includes residuals, bonuses and overrides. We also sell the #1 selling IUL in the industry this past year.

Cons

We have experienced growing pains over the last year. The underwriting at one of our principal carriers, Transamerica, slowed in the middle of last year. That is due to the fact that business at Transamerica grew over 60% in 2014 vs a growth rate of under 5% in the industry. They have hired new underwriters and have fixed the problem, but it was difficult at the time. Other carriers may not have experienced the same slowdown, but their products are not as good as evidenced by the slowdown in their sales vs the growth in ours.
